Sad news, Invisible College blogger D.W. Cooper has passed away. I didn’t know him, but I loved his blog.
Not safe for work tributes at Sauceruney’s and Weird Pixie’s.

Welcome to the Technoccult blog roll
I’ve added a few new people to the blog roll, please welcome: LVX23, Mindwarp, the Invisible College, Dehiscence, and Vortex Egg. Someone really should host all these blogspot blogs. I’d do it, but I’m so flakey about keeping my hosting and domain name registration paid up…

Teleportation advances
Basically, researchers can use lab techniques to create a weird relationship between pairs of tiny particles. After that, the fate of one particle instantly affects the other; if one particle is made to take on a certain set of properties, the other immediately takes on identical or opposite properties, no matter how far away it is and without any apparent physical connection to the first particle.

ADHD: a Farce
Looks like some physicians are finally seeing the light on the whole ADD/ADHD excuse that runs rampant in our society.
“Retired California neurologist Fred A. Baughman Jr. fired off a letter in January 2000 to U.S. Surgeon General David Satcher in response to Satcher’s Report on Mental Illness. ‘Having gone to medical school,’ Baughman wrote, ‘and studied pathology – disease, then diagnosis – you and I and all physicians know that the presence of any bona fide disease, like diabetes, cancer or epilepsy, is confirmed by an objective finding – a physical or chemical abnormality. No demonstrable physical or chemical abnormality: no disease!”
“It is this direct, no-nonsense style that has made Baughman a pariah among the psychiatric and mental-health communities and a hero to families of children across America who believe they have been ‘victimized’ by the attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) label. The ‘disease,’ Baughman tells Insight, ‘is a total 100 percent fraud,’ and he has made it his personal ‘crusade’ to bring an end to the ADHD diagnosis.”

Neanderthal = Nephilim?
“The argument is presented that the scientific facts verify that the Neanderthal were in fact one and the same as the ancient warrior race the Nephilim. It is here proposed that an examination of the evidence and facts currently available on Neanderthal man reveal that they could well have been a race of half-breed humans referred to in some of the earliest manuscripts found as the Nephilim.”
Interesting, if extremely speculative, research paper found via Invisible College. I’ve read other research, however, suggesting that both Noah and Goliath were from the Nephilim. If it’s true in the case of Noah, that would mean that most of us are related to this half-angel breed and not the Neaderthals.
