I’m heading up the Ultraculture group in the Rocky Mountain area. Yahoo! Group here.
Essentially, what we want to do is put together a group of magicians, pagans, wiccans, shamans, mystics, and other “occultists” in the rockies interested in merging magical practice with community involvement and/or political activism. Things are still in their infancy, so now’s your chance to get in on the ground level.
I’m thinking about a meeting in Denver next month.
For more info about “Ultraculture” read Jason Louv’s guest essay on Key 23.
That Subliminal Kid says:
Basically the whole vibe of the film is to think about why America still has the kind of amnesia that would let a an election like the last two happen. “Birth of a Nation” is the first film to show a corrupt American election. Plus, its got the added bonus of being crazy racist. Combine the two, and it makes for a sad reflection of contemporary America. Dj-ing breaks these things down, and that’s what I do to the film. Kind of highlight the fact that there’s multiple situations going on. That’s why I’m “Dj-ing the film.”

Hope the dude comes to Denver soon…

Hey everybody, I’m moving to Laramie, WY next week. I’m moving down there to be closer to these beautiful people. Laramie’s only a couple hours away from Denver, so I’ll probably be down there a fair amount. Any Technoccultists who want to get together should drop me a comment here.
(Kinda strange to think that I was sitting at this very desk in my parents’ study over 5 years ago when I coded the first version of this site, back when I was still in high school)
Oh, I still don’t have a job down there yet, so any prayers to your god(s) would be appreciated =)
