I’m now on my 3rd hiptop. The first one last me about 10 months. The second one last me about two weeks, then the scroll wheel stopped working. The third one is prone to freezing for no reason and has serious network connectivity problems (both before and after the recent software upgrade). But I’m sick of returning them, and now the warranty is up. I plan on holding out until the Treo 600 comes out in the US and I can afford it, or until the Nokia 6850 comes out in the US and I can afford it, which ever comes first. I really really like the looks of that Nokia phone, man. If I end up with the Treo, I’ll probably very tempted to switch to the Nokia, if the reviews are decent. Which would mean I would switch from hiptop to Palm to Symbian in less than one year, potentially. I suppose it will be a UI learning experience, if nothing else.
