I’m still here in Seattle, looking for a place to live. So far it’s been pretty uneventful. I’ve only today found a couple of places that look reasonable. It’s funny, the manager at a building I went to today told me they don’t to credit checks, only eviction checks. “Everyone with good credit went out and bought a condo while the rates are down,” she said. Still, the prices at most of the places I’ve seen in the Capitol Hill area are ridiculous. It also seems that most realitors prefer not to answer their phones, or return calls. Weird.

I’ve been having trouble getting ahold of some of my Seattle-area friends. Need to keep in better touch with people. It’s amazing to me that I’ve been in touch with Brad all these years. It’s weird to think that if I’d made a little less effort to keep in touch with him, we could both be living in the same city right now, but not even know it.
